The Feast in the East (FITE) 2024 is hosted by the East Realm and Chieftain of the East, Joe Dupont “Caveman” and will take place at Bauernhof Dennis, 4112 Goldmine Rd, Goldvein, VA 22720. It will include an official IHC meeting on Saturday evening. The below itinerary is tentative. We hope to see as many of you as possible. There certainly is a lot of camping and parking space for Cages, RVs, and motorcycles. I have an AirBnB about 2.6 miles away that has 3 bedrooms also. There should be plenty of beds for everyone.

Friday 12/6/24
1 – 6 pm – Arrival and set up
6 pm - Easy Dinner inside around the fire

Saturday 12/7/24
10 - 11 am - Brunch
1 - 4 pm - Chill, or go to a winery, brewery, or cider place
6 pm – Dinner
7:00 pm – Meeting, Official Clan Event

Sunday 12/8/24
9 – 10:30 am - Breakfast
10:30 am – Noon - Clean up, tear down, and departure

Please RSVP to Dennis Madtes, madtesdw@aol.com or 813-842-4767 and include your arrival and departure dates. There is plenty of level and flat space to park and camp. The driveway is asphalt. We will sleep as many in the house as possible. Showers and bathrooms are available in the house, The barn has a concrete floor and there is plenty of room there for cots and air mattresses, if you want to pretend that you are still in the Army. Feel free to bring your own beverage. There is a gas station, a Dollar General, and a fast food Italian (pizza, open from 3 - 10 pm) place about 1 mile from Bauernhof Dennis.
Closest hotel is the Affordable Suites of America Fredericksburg, 540-752-7170, 204 University Blvd, Fredericksburg, VA 22406 or Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Fredericksburg, VA, 540,322,2954, 656 Warrenton Rd, Fredericksburg, VA 22406. Both are about $80 per night. Lots of hotels near the Radisson. They are about 15 miles away. There are a couple BnBs within a few miles.
